PEGA design studio in Taiwan has developed a foldable paper teapot called Dao Cha. The tea bag is already built inside the pot. The package also contains a foldable cup, making it possible to drink tea anywhere. Dao Cha is available in several flavors, including: Jasmine Green Tea, Japanese Genmaicha, Sri Lankan Earl Charm and Refreshing Earl.

Crowdsourced restaurant in 90 days

A bunch of creative people from Lansing, Michigan aim to give a restaurant a complete makeover within 90 days. Through crowdsourcing on social networks, they hope to get as many ideas as possible about the interior, the facade, color and menu. Every week they post online polls to determine the final concept of the restaurant.

Last Sunday restaurant Fifteen restaurant in Amsterdam organized a ‘Less common shares dinner’. It was a seven-course menu with ‘less common parts’ of food. These ingredients are often discarded because they are ‘scary’. Many chefs are scared to work woth ingredients like: kidneys, bone marrow or blood. By wokring with less common parts the initiators want to make sure kitchens will work more sustainably.

Secret pop-up restaurant in Italy

In the streets of the Italian city of Ferrara a special pop-up restaurant concept is offered. The location of the restaurant is sent by text right before the dinner. Persons who have registered in advance receive a message with clues to the right location.
