If you are addicted to steaks and would like to experience a fun and interactive dinner, than you have to go the Ikinari Steak restaurant. At Ikinari Steak they serve ‘super thick’ high quality meats at a fast pace, you even have to eat at a standing station. The Ikinari Steak restaurants are already popular in Japan (100 locations throughout Japan, including over 60 locations in Tokyo) but since last November you can also find it in New York where they’re planning to open 20 more locations in in the next five years.

Temakery, recently opened in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Temakery is a fast-casual restaurant that responds to the fast moving society and the generation of today. They offer fresh meals, authentic street food and healthy snacks. The best point: you have full control over the contents of your meal.
De Jong DELI | Seven businesses in one

One of the ultimate examples of blurring, De Jong DELI houses seven different outlets: a lunchroom, bakery, butchery, cheese maker, delicacies, caterer and an ice cream shop! In other words De Jong DELI is, both a store, caterer and a restaurant, located in Adriaan Oomenstraat 1a in Teteringen, the Netherlands.
Rooster Soup Company | All profit goes to charity

At restaurant Rooster Soup Company in Philadelphia they help people in need by donating their profit to charity. Chef Michael Solomonov and his four partners at Federal Donuts made this possible via a crowdfunding campaign.
De Bajes | Street Art Restaurant

The first Street Art restaurant opened this week in the Netherlands and is called ‘De Bajes’, which means ‘The Jail’. After to Hong Kong and New York it’s now also possible in the Netherlands to eat and drink between painted walls by world’s most famous street art artists. The restaurant is located on the Utrechtsestraat in Amsterdam.

Last year we wrote about a Kickstarter project from entrepreneur Chloë, she was funding to open her own ‘Glass Jars’ concept in New York. The goal was to serve all meals in healthy and sustainable jars. In the meantime, the restaurant opened its doors and we received some pictures of the concept!
