LuminAir, the famous rooftop cocktail bar on the 11th floor of DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station, is taking the LuminAir experience to an even higher level with the LuminAir Suite. The announcement of this suite, based on the upstairs cocktail bar, is a first in the Dutch hospitality landscape.

- Savor has developed a technology that turns carbon into cooking fats, oils, and other food products, like butter.
- Artist Iwan Smit designed the 2024 Duvel Glasses. The theme for the design is, ‘making a real connection’.

- Ruby Hotels opened their 19th location, in Florence, Italy. Ruby Bea Hotel is located in the same building as Ruby Dante Workspaces.

Celebrate Pride 2024 in the hospitality industry

Amsterdam is celebrating inclusivity these weeks, with the PRIDE as highlight. Last Monday was Pink Monday in Tilburg and in the coming period there are LGBTIQA+ events in various cities in the Netherlands. Hotels are hosting events and restaurants are creating delicious rainbow dishes! A list of places that are paying attention to Pride 2024 and initiatives in the hospitality industry!

- From Wok to Walk to Wok to Dine: the chain has opened their sixth Amsterdam branch in the Pijp area. Here you can go for to-go wok dishes but you can also dine more elaborately.
