They have a banner hanging in their foodhall with the invitation to come and toast at his 50th birthday with a 1961 Barolo. An original way to invite a President! A beautiful food hall by the way where you can eat Italian food and buy it!

The Dutch location based marketing is thriving. After the introduction of Repudo it’s now Roamler that launches an app for location based messages. Members of this community can earn money and points with the assessment of products, filling in checklists or writing reviews. Heineken uses the app to check the presentation of their Coolcan in the supermarkets this summer. The City of Amsterdam asks members to send in nice graffiti and has included several other assignments around the theme ‘a green environment’. The app is now available for a select group of 500 people.

The first floating golf course

Plans are made for the world’s first floating golf course on the Maldives. Threatened with the rising sea level caused by climate change, the island nation may be doomed to a watery grave unless it transitions to floating developments. Designed through a collaboration between Waterstudio.NL, Dutch Docklands, and golf course developer Troon Golf, the zero-footprint solar-powered golf course will be one of the first floating developments and is expected to bring in a wave of new tourists.

A hotel in China will be build in the shape of a ping-pong racket. The 150 meters high building is part of a 67 acres sports complex in the Chinese city of Huainan. The local government spends 32 million euros in the development and construction of the hotel.

The bottles are filled, stacked between chicken wire and covered with cement.
