Panja Paloma | Waterkant and Brewery ‘t IJ created a refreshing summer beer cocktail

This summer, Brewery ‘t IJ and Waterkant are jointly launching a new and surprising beer cocktail in a sexy can called: Panja Paloma. The inspiration for this new drink was found in the popular paloma cocktail, an effervescent Mexican long drink cocktail with tequila and grapefruit. This cocktail combined with Brouwerij ‘t IJ’s famous beer creates a refreshing summer treat. In short, a collaboration with a sunny edge between two Amsterdam icons. Panja Paloma is now available at the Waterkant and is preferably drunk on a warm summer’s day.
Immerse LDN | ExCeL London unveils new dedicated immersive entertainment district

This Summer, ExCeL London, part of ADNEC Group, will launch the first phases of Immerse LDN, set to be the UK’s largest immersive entertainment district and offering new afterhours and hospitality opportunities for the events industry. Spanning more than 160,000sqft once fully complete, Immerse LDN will be dedicated to showcasing world-class immersive experiences and original productions across brand-new purpose-built venue spaces in the heart of London’s Royal Docks – set to the backdrop of ExCeL London’s newly developed waterfront.

- Great name swap: pickles festival Picklesburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! We know that they love pickles in the US but we wonder if Europeans would fancy pickle shaved ice, pickle tots or pickle cheesesteak.
- After a redesign the Asian restaurant Mr. Sam will reopen this month in Amsterdam.
- Earlier we wrote about the introduction of the German app NeoTaste in Amsterdam, they’re now expanding to many more Dutch cities. They have a lot of restaurants offering special culinary benefits in Amsterdam and Rotterdam for example.
- Pasquale Carfora, chef of Aroma Italian Fine Dining Restaurant in the small Dutch town of Vaassen, is named winner of the renowned Primo dei Campi competition in Italy.
- Chiel Dohmen, owner of restaurant By Chiel in Zutphen, has been awarded the prestigious Gerrit de Kiewit Trophy of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Nederland.
