A funny article at Eater about the use of fidget spinners in the kitchen. Apparently it all started with chef Eric Ripert from restaurant Le Bernardin in New York who posted a tweet with a picture of a fidget spinner with the words ‘Confiscated’. Like at many schools it seems like the chefs at his kitchen aren’t allowed to ‘spin’ during work hours. But someone took up the challenge to proof him wrong! Each year it looks like there are more and more food festivals to visit in The Netherlands. Festivals where you, together with others, can enjoy the most delicious dishes, drinks and music. As The Hague offers a wide variety of restaurants, serving foods from all over the world, it’s decided to bring all these restaurant together for a food festivals. This new and unique contest gives candidates the opportunity to achieve their dreams of having their own restaurant. The person with the winning restaurant concept will receive a fully-featured pop-up restaurant during the Horecava, which takes place from Monday the 8th until Thursday the 11th of January 2018 in RAI Amsterdam.
