Design Studio Cunicode completed the experiment One Cup a Day. A month (1 cup per day) long they designed creative cups that are for sale. The 30 designs can be placed in 3 categories: funny cups, useless cups (but interesting) and cups by texture. Watch the video to see one of the cups (the Octo Cup).

The Growler Station (NYC) allows customers to tap craft beer straight from the tap. In their shop in Greenwich Village, NY, customers can choose of several kinds of beer. Through a tv screen and several iPads, customers can request information about the beer. The Growler Station is planning to open stores in South Carolina, Georgia, Washington DC, Northern NY and Michigan.

Initiator Dwight Oldenhof found via CrowAboutNow 67 people/companies that have made a combined investment of  € 25.000,00 in Bar Oldenhof. The bar will be opened upcoming spring in Amsterdam (Netherlands). The investors are entitled to include priority when reserving a table, get discounts on drinks and have access to the opening party. Bar Oldenhof is a mix of a jazz club and a luxury hotel bar.

Capcom Bar opened an entertainment bar in Tokyo. In the bar they serve dishes inspired by video games. The menus are inspired by the games Biohazard, Sengoku Basara, Gayakuten Series and Monster Hunter.

Valentines champagne bath

For Valentines Day, the London Cadogan hotel launched a champagne bath menu. The bath will be filled with 120 bottles of champagne by your own butler, assigned by the hotel. Butlers also place strawberries covered with chocolate and a complimentary bottle of vintage champagne. This all within reach of the bath.
