Crowdfunding campaign for the first halal Japanese restaurant | Maruki

Maruki, an innovative concept that combines Japanese cuisine with halal principles, will soon open its doors as the very first fully halal Japanese restaurant in the Netherlands. Led by Xu Dong Sun, a driven hospitality entrepreneur with a profound passion for both the hospitality industry and his faith, Maruki promises to offer a unique and carefree culinary experience to Rotterdam and the rest of the Netherlands. For the first halal Japanese restaurant in the Netherlands, he has launched a unique crowdfunding campaign for funding. More than half of the €40,000 target amount has already been raised by 79 committed investors.
Hotel Sosei Sapporo at the heart of the Japanese island of Hokkaido has opened

On the island of Hokkaido, Japan’s fifth largest city did welcome the latest addition to the Accor Group’s MGallery Collection since of January 2024. Set in the Sosei East neighborhood, where the cultural heritage is as present as ever, Hotel Sosei Sapporo exalts Japanese tradition while integrating discreet touches of modernity and character. An eclectic mix for a destination that offers a complete getaway sensation.

The Lana in Dubai | The first hotel of the Dorchester Collection in the Middle East

Dorchester Collection’s hotly anticipated new opening, The Lana in Dubai, has welcomed its first dining and overnight guests. An architectural statement designed by Foster + Partners, the hotel represents the ultimate expression of trusted hospitality and elevated living, offering 225 rooms and suites and eight new dining concepts; including four that have been created with three of the world’s most celebrated chefs. The hotel’s sophisticated interiors have been designed and executed by the famed Parisian duo, Gilles & Boissier and incorporate a carefully curated section of more than 50 art pieces, commissioned by local and global artists. The Lana will also be home to the first Dior Spa in the UAE, set to open in April 2024.

Beyond Steak® will soon be available at Hanos and other foodservice outlets. We just tasted it!
