Last week the fifth store of GooodyFooods opened in Apeldoorn. Apart from the 100% biologic supermarket, there is a 35 seat biologic café as well. GooodyFooods’ goal is nationwide coverage within two years.

Beautiful building for the Basque Culinary Center in San Sebastian, designed by Vaumm Arquitectos Donastia. Next to three 3-stars restaurants the city also houses this building where culinary eduction can be obtained. Watch the pictures at both websites.
The Mobile Man Cave; the CigaRv, is a cigar lounge. CigaRv is mobile and gives you the ability to enjoy live sports and a fine cigar without the worries of local smoking laws. The full-service lounge is used at special events and private parties.

The results of 800 questionnaires provide a clear and honest picture of both the visitors and non-visitors. The Dutch report provides insights on the motives and thoughts of the non-visitors (and thus potential visitors) and gives wellness related companies the tools to anticipate on the expectations of their target group.
Advertising agency Wieden & Kennedy’s in Amsterdam offers a Christmas dinner for family and friends who live far away. Each person can log in and call with skype, there faces will be seen on screens. The room is decorated like a real Christmas dinner.
You can find this restaurant “Tusen” in Sweden’s ‘Ramundberget’ Mountains. This beautiful building is made from locally sourced materials and boasts its own water and sewage system, designed by Murman Arkitekter. The restaurant, which is an apres-ski bar as well, serves Swedish food and offers shelter against the cold for tourists. Tusen is Swedish for thousand.
Burger King has recently opened a new location in Singapore; the Burger King Garden Grill. This restaurant is decorated with several comfortable sofa’s, soft colours and lot of decorative foliage. The menu is still the same. With this concept Burger King hopes to attract more families. The restaurant chain has no immediate plans to bring this concept to the United States.
‘Krijg de kleren!’ (litterally ‘get the clothes’ but in figure of speech ‘F*ck off’) is an monthly initiative from Annemijn Boon and Rosan Brunger in a club in Amsterdam. Visitors –mostly women- bring old clothes with these and trade them with others while having a drink. The clothes that don’t have a new owner at the end of the evening will go to the next edition or are donated to Humana. Every edition has a theme, this Sunday it’s ‘Let’s Go Sjiek’.
Malibu Farm Dinner is a new restaurant-concept in Malibu in which everything is focused on the micro-environment. Guests are dining in the garden of the farm where the entrepreneurs live and the ingredients and wines literally come from the backyard. In addition a live-band performs each evening of which the son of the entrepreneurs is a part of. In this way Malibu Farm doesn’t feel like a formal dinner, but more like a nice party at a friend’s house.
In February 2012 Electrolux will open the Tram Experience in Brussels; an unique driving tram restaurant in which Belgian top chefs will serve several dishes. For 75 euros guests can order Belgian classics with a personal touch. In this way one is able to combine gastronomy with sightseeing in Brussels.
