In 2013 the largest mall in the world will be opened in the city of Tianjin (China). The SM Tianjin Shopping Center will be 530,000 square meters, an area the size of 74 football fields. Tianjin is only 30 minutes by high speed train from Beijing.

Hotel Ghent was built by the Japanese artist Tazu Rous. He wanted to eliminate the separation between the public and private space. The 109 available nights in the TRACK-art Hotel Ghent were fully booked within 23 minutes. Hotel Ghent is built around the clock on the tower of the Sint-Pietersstation in Belgium, 23 meters above ground level.
