Ikea has opened a pop-up lounge for the tired traveller on airport Roissy Charles de Gaulle in Paris. The lounge in terminal 3 is open until August 5th.

The Lincolnshire Marriot Resort in Illinois is brewing their own beer, made of honey from their own bees, in cooperation with the Lake Bluff Brewery. In the future, the hotel will supply their own hops as ingredient for the beer.
Thanks to the partnership with Coca Cola, Heinz now supplies 100% recyclable bottles which feature the ‘PlantBottle’ technology. Thanks to this partnership (which Ford and Nike have as well), Heinz launched the campaign ‘Join the Growing Movement’ to encourage more people to live greener lifestyles.
Cocoagraphs are artisan chocolate bars printed with edible Polaroid-style photographs. Calling to mind nostalgia for years past, these charming confections are completely custom, printed with any photograph, logo, or image of your choice. With each cocoagraph handmade to order, all users have to do is upload a photo and choose the ingredients from milk, white, dark or organic dark chocolate. Watch the video that explains the process.

Clash Club in São Paulo, Brazil recently held a night of music specially for the hearing impaired. During its recent “Feel the Sound” night, the club served up music via a sound system with enhanced bass to help those with hearing disabilities to feel the sound waves. Visual projections were highlighted with lasers and brighter lighting. Interpreter service was available and the staff of Clash underwent a training with a speech therapist.
Michelin star chef Paco Roncero has created a research workshop together with Guia Repsol, HP, LandRover, NH Hoteles and Miele. The futuristic room is used to experiment with new creations and the influence of the surroundings. Elements like certain colors, shapes and flavors on the experience are tested and environmental comfort variables such as temperature, humidity, sound and light can be manipulated as well.
The London Soho community wants to cut back the use of plastic straws with the ‘Straw Wars’ campaign. This way they prevent that the straws will end up in the environment.
