Camp The Night Amsterdam | Camping New Style
Sleep on a rooftop underneath the stars in Amsterdam, brush your teeth in one of the dressing rooms in the Olympic Stadium, float with your fellow campers in Amsterdam Noord: experience it during Camp the Night. The new camping platform Campspace.com pops up on unexpected areas in the capital city on the 12th and 13th of August.
Camping is so much more then nicely cut grass, toilet buildings and animation teams. We from Campspace.com want to show you that you can roll out you bed on several different places: in The Netherlands for example on a rooftop in the city centre of Amsterdam, or in the backyard of citizens in Valkenburg, Limburg’ says initiator Hugo van Donselaar.
Cardboard tents with view over Amsterdam
On the rooftop NEST above Hotel Casa Amsterdam, you can camp in a cardboard tent by KarTent. Besides the view contestants will enjoy a dinner together with live music. In the morning the campers will wake up with a breakfast at their (air mattress) bed and yoga fanatics can follow a yoga session.
Camp the Night in the Olympic Stadium
At the Olympic Stadium (Amsterdam) you can both relax and engage in several activities. Guests can build their tents here on the historical playing field and join the tough work-outs by SQM2 (responsible for sports training for employees at Telfort, Vice, ING and the municipality of Amsterdam).
Float in Noord
Besides the Olympic Stadium and NEST there will also be a floating garden in De Ceuvel as pop-up campsite. On the green, environmentally friendly floats, fully equipped tents will be ready for campers. At this creative breeding ground in Amsterdam Noord, dinner and breakfast are served by Café De Ceuvel, the most sustainable café on earth. In the evening, the campers will enjoy a mini-concert.
Artistic campsite on the Science Park
The temporary art camping by Urban Campsite Amsterdam also joins Camp the Night. Guests will stay in artistic, special, crazy artworks. All art objects feature a comfortable mattress. Glamping and art join forces here. The campsite has a communal barbecue, guests can also bake pizzas in the special pizza oven. The next morning a joint breakfast is organised.
Get your tickets for Camp the Night
On the website of Camp the Night you can book camp spot at one of the pop-up campsites. Prices (mostly including tent, dinner, breakfast and activity) for two persons are varying between 120 and 150 euro’s. Bootcamp and camp spot in the Olympic Stadium are 37 euros. There are special prices for sport teams and groups of friends.
