Caffè Torino | First pop up Negroni bar in Belgium
Last week the first pop-up Negroni bar in Antwerp, Belgium opened. From the 30th of March until the 23th of April, you can enjoy this cocktail that consists of gin, vermouth and Campari in Martini Caffè Torino. Caffè Torino, previously opened the first pop-up vermoutbar in Belgium at the Oude Beestenmarkt in Ghent. They will only serve Negroni’s at this pop-up bar.
Around the world in six Negroni’s
Six cocktails from six continents are on the menu, six passionate bartenders from the international cocktail scene will create their signature Negroni. This includes the bartender Naren Young, owner of Dante in New York – one of the world’s most influential aperitivo bars. In addition, there are also Negroni’s from Dubai, Sydney, Bologna, Singapore and Chile on the menu. Also weekly a Belgian cocktail expert will present his own ‘Negroni of the future’. The pop-up bar is initiated by the brand Martini.
The snacks at this aperitivo bar are provided by Francesco and Julia, an Antwerp-Italian culinary duo. You can enjoy their Italian food with your Negroni, or simply take it home.
Netherlands
In the Netherlands we saw a similar project in 2014. In Amsterdam opened the first Bitteria, Mercato Campari cocktail bar, where everything revolved around cocktails that taste bitter. Also a pop-up concept, initiated by the Italian brand Campari.
