Great news, still some spots left for you! ‘Brouwerij Troost’ in Amsterdam is giving you the opportunity to brew your own beer. The registration for the second quarter in 2016 is now open.
Brewing beer more popular than ever
Brewing your own beer keeps getting more popular in Holland. In June 2015 an amount of 312 breweries were situated in Holland while in 2013 this were only 165 breweries. This is also reflected in the hospitality industry nowadays where the beer menus are getting more extended every year. At many beer menus you will not only find information about the alcohol percentage and the ingredients, but also information about the breweries themselves. For the smaller beer brewers it must feel great to see your own beer at a menu.
Brew your own beer
Brouwerij Troost offers beer brewers the possibility to brew their own beer at their brewery. As brewer you’re able to use of the beer boilers of Brouwerij Troost, de experiences of other brewers and when you’re lucky, you could even make use of one of the beer faucets in the brew pub. Currently there are two brewers who are serving their beers on draught at Brouwerij Troost: Van Vollenhoven with their ‘Extra Stout’ beer and also the ‘King Kong’ from the Cinema Brewers.
Brouwerij Troost
Brouwerij Troost originally started in a former monastery in ‘de Pijp’, Amsterdam. Besides the location in ‘de Pijp’, they opened a bigger location at the ‘Westergasfabriek’ in which they have brewed more than 250.000 litres of beer. Together with 13 other brewers, they have developed 30 beers since they opened the new location.
