Bon Appetit – “The ice salon of Breda’ opens his doors in Breda.
From today on the Netherlands has a new Ice cream parlor. Today ‘The ice parlor of Breda – Bon Appetit’ opens its doors. The parlor is developed by the entrepreneurs Edwin and Kim van Es, they’re known from the cafeteria Bon Appetit in Rijsbergen.

‘The ice parlor of Breda – Bon Appitet’ is situated in the centre of Breda, Vlaszak 2. In the 440 square meters salon 48 different flavors ice cream, healthy salads, fresh smoothies, delicious pastries, 18 different tosti’s, coffee and freshly baked bread are served.
“This is a enjoymentshop. We sell an unique experience,” says Edwin van Es about his new salon. “You need to get a wow-feeling when you come into the store and when you leave the salon as well. And even when you’re back home you should still have that wow-feeling.”
Ice cream laboratory
The eye catcher of the shop is the big showcase with 48 different colorfull ice creams. The ice cream laboratory is located on the back of the shop, this is a big room made of glass where the ice is being made. Guests are able to see how the ice cream is made. Guests can also enjoy the smell of freshly made ice cream. The stock cells are placed behind the ice cream laboratory.
Design
The interior of the salon is bold and contemporary. “This will be a trend in 5 years”, says Edwin van Es. “We were inspired by a design fair and we put some modern elements in our salon like the wallpaper, the lamps and the color scheme.
In front of the salon a terrace is built with a lounge sofas and tables with seats. There is place for a max. of 50 guests, who can enjoy their ice cream, sandwich or something else. ‘The ice parlor of Breda – Bon Appetit’ is daily open from 10 am until 10 pm.
The cafeteria Bon Appetit in Rijswijk is one of the best of the Netherlands for years already. In October 2014 the cafeteria was chosen as cafeteria of the year by magazine Snackkoerier
