This October, art lovers can once again immerse themselves in the 18th edition of the Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam. To get in the mood, lifestyle hotel INNSiDE by Meliá is bringing together various artists and speakers for an evening filled with workshops, live painting, panel discussions and more, allowing visitors to learn, get inspired and get creative. Kick-off ‘Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam’ during ‘Lose Yourself in Art Night’
The beloved fair at De Kromhouthal in Amsterdam is an annual artistic highlight, where thousands of contemporary artworks are presented by 65 Dutch and international galleries. To kick off this grand event, INNSiDE by Meliá is organising the Lose Yourself in Art Night together with Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam. The hotel, where custom-made artworks by students of the Gerrit Rietveld Academy adorn the walls, has a warm heart for the art world and will bring together various artists and experts on this colourful evening. Among other things, guests can watch artists Jasper van den Ham and Leyla Khorshiddoost work live, discover Hanne Arends’ hotel room takeover, participate in a print workshop by Sara Plantefève-Castryck, and join moderator Blythe Bolton (Director of Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam and Brussels) and speakers Rep Ringel (artist), Saba Askary (programme manager at World Press Photo) and Jolien Verhaegen (founder of All in Gallery) in a discussion on the theme ’Losing and finding yourself through art’. There will also be plenty of time for drinks at the bar, to toast to each other and end, or start, the evening.
Tickets for the Lose Yourself in Art Night at the INNSiDE by Meliá (Eduard van Beinumstraat 40, Amsterdam) on Thursday 5 September from 18:00 to 21:00 are now available via this website. The number is very limited, so be quick!
