So what should you think of? An atmospheric, American diner-inspired, all-day breakfast restaurant where you can enjoy breakfast classics as well as surprising new dishes. The success of by Jarmusch is striking: “There is a change going on. Nightlife is increasingly shifting towards the early evening and the city is waking up earlier and earlier. Having breakfast away from home is thereby gaining in popularity,” is what founder Ruben Venema says about the changing breakfast culture. “In countries like North America, eating breakfast away from home is part of everyday life. We experience that in The Netherlands too, having breakfast out-of-home is becoming increasingly popular.”
Ambitions and growth of all-day breakfast diner by Jarmusch
The new premises covers no less than 250 m2 of indoor space and have a huge 100m2 terrace in the sun. As far as Venema is concerned, this location is only the beginning of the growth he envisions for his all-day breakfast diner concept. “If you can double successfully, you can also quadruple, and so on. Eventually, we want to open a by Jarmusch in every major city. We are confident in this growth because we work very closely with our staff. Their commitment and professionalism is an indispensable factor in the success of by Jarmusch.”

By Jarmusch first opened its doors in 2017 at Het Industriegebouw on the Goudsesingel in Rotterdam. The breakfast diner has since become a regular spot for early birds, morning meetings or a quiet breakfast or lunch with colleagues or friends. The new location also serves all-day breakfast classics, modern bowls, juices, and coffees. Opened from 08:00 till 16:00.
