A’DAM the new multifunctional tower
Toren Overhoeks was the former Shell Office and is currently being transformed into a vertical city. After 40 years of ‘isolation’, A’DAM Tower is going to let the general public enjoy this unique place in Amsterdam. A’DAM Lookout will be situated in the crown of the A’DAM tower. This will be an iconic observation platform which is missing now in Amsterdam.
Functionality of A’DAM
You won’t get bored visiting A’DAM, in the evening you can drink and dance in Madam. On the 19th floor there will be a panoramic restaurant called Moon and on the 16th there is the possibility to rent a double-height space for exhibitions, conferences or product launches. You can also marry here in a beautiful setting. Furthermore, a hotel called the Sir Adam hotel will be situated in the tower. This hotel will provide 110 rooms, a gym and a living lobby with bar, restaurant (Butcher Social Club) and a beer garden. The lobby will be open 24 hours a day. In a new underground space Shelter will be realized: a club and space for exhibitions and meetings.
Leader in music & dance
A’DAM is also known as Amsterdam Dance And Music. The tower will be the home of leading international creative companies in the music industry. Names as ID&T, Massive Music, Q-Dance and Gibson will settle here, but there is also space for A’DAM Works. On the two floors of A’DAM works, spaces will be offered to small companies and talents in the music- and creative sector. In A’DAM & Co on the 18th floor there is the possibility to network in a loft with its own roof terrace.
The first hospitality concepts are expected to open mid-May.
