More for less at the TRIBE Hotels

Founded in Australia in 2017, TRIBE Hotels promises ‘more for less’ and represents bold design for travellers who crave stylish and modern hotels at an affordable price. TRIBE hotels are designed to give guests everything they need and not what they don’t.

Like all TRIBE hotels, TRIBE Riga City Centre offers a number of modern amenities such as a rain shower, a personal steamer in every room and Kevin Murphy amenities in the bathrooms. Ideal for work or leisure, the hotel is just 9 km from Riga International Airport and offers easy access to public transport in the city. Rooms are also pet-friendly on request.

From Bali to Germany & the new TRIBE Hotels

The latest addition in Latvia builds on the growing portfolio of more than 15 hotels, from Perth and Bangkok to London and Paris, from Bali’s famous Kuta beach to the spa town of Baden-Baden in Germany and now Riga. The brand will continue its growth trajectory, with a pipeline of more than 40 hotels expected to open within the next five years, three-quarters of them in Europe.

Some of the upcoming TRIBE openings in Europe include Paris Clichy and Paris Pantis, in addition to Manchester Airport and Düsseldorf later in the year. Other openings in the pipeline after 2024 include TRIBE Budapest Airport and TRIBE Krakow Stare Miasto in 2025 and TRIBE Mainz in 2026.

Other recent openings under the TRIBE brand in Europe include Milano Malpensa in Italy in February 2024, in addition to two hotels in France, Paris Saint-Ouen and Lyon Croix Rousse; the first hotel in Germany, TRIBE Baden Baden; and TRIBE Budapest Stadium in Hungary.

The mission and vision of TRIBE Hotels

Philippe Bijaoui, Chief Development Officer Europe North Africa for Accor’s Premium, Midscale & Economy division, explains, “TRIBE is a brand with incredible potential, especially in Europe. There is a huge market for travellers looking for stylish and modern hotels, where they get more for less. It’s a great example of what we are doing across our portfolio to turn our hotels into community hubs that appeal to people in the local area as well as those coming from afar; and that strategy will bring huge benefits to owners in terms of ancillary income and the value of their assets, in addition to breaking the glass ceiling for rates within mid-range brands.”

Work hard, play hard

One of the main reasons for the brand’s growing popularity is its many lifestyle elements, with fresh and vibrant spaces to work or relax. The brand appeals to locals and travellers alike, with social hubs and spaces designed to connect. Key examples include Budapest Stadium, where a rooftop bar will open this spring with views of the Budapest skyline; and London Canary Wharf, where the Feels Like June restaurant offers a Californian-inspired dining experience popular with locals and tourists alike throughout the day.

Each hotel features a communal Social Hub, catering to the needs of both remote workers and those looking for a place to relax, with a coffee and cocktail bar plus a 24-hour Grab & Go desk, plus a variety of restaurant concepts.
