As a result of the corona crisis, record after record is currently being broken when it comes to staff shortages. According to figures from the Central Bureau of Statistics in the Netherlands, the hospitality industry, with the highest vacancy rate this spring, was the sector with the greatest shortages. In order to attract new staff, Leonardo Hotels decided to throw out the edged rules and procedures and create the ideal hospitality job. As #inspectorLeonardo, you are paid for three months to test all the hotels and F&B concepts of the hotel chain for free, together with a friend.

In October 2023, Leonardo Hotel Breda City Center started the renovation of the hotel on the Stationsplein in Breda. Now that this transformation has been successfully completed, the hotel is proud to welcome both business and leisure guests in a completely renovated interior, taking the ambience of the hotel to a higher level. The aim of the renovation was to better meet the needs of hotel guests and to offer both hotel guests and local guests more possibilities in terms of events and culinary experiences. Thanks to the renovation, the Leonardo Hotels Breda City Center seamlessly matches the distinctive ‘Leonardo product’ in which the chain wants to receive its guests. The official opening of the hotel and restaurant will take place on 3 October, in the presence of the mayor of Breda, Paul Depla.
