Barista Cafe, known for its cozy cafes and quality coffee in the Netherlands, is bringing this dream to life, but with a coffee twist. In appreciation of loyal and new guests, golden coffee cups are hidden, Willy Wonka-style, among Barista Cafe’s own line of coffee capsules. The grand prize: a trip to the coffee plantations in Brazil.

As of today you will have the chance to find a golden cup
Starting October 1st, the golden cups can be found in the packages of coffee capsules, available at all locations of Barista Cafe or online through their website. Will someone find one of these golden cups just like Charlie? If so, they will have a chance to win various prizes, including an exclusive trip to Barista Cafe’s coffee plantations in Brazil.
“Barista Cafe is all about creating special moments, both in our cafes and at home with a cup of our freshly roasted coffee. With the search for the golden cups, we want to not only show our appreciation to our guests, but also give them the opportunity to experience the journey of our coffee from bean to cup and discover the source of our quality coffee together.” Says Patrick Groenewold, Director of Operations & Services.
A golden opportunity
Starting Tuesday, October 1st, hidden golden cups can be found among Barista Cafe‘s coffee capsules. Those who discover one of these special cups will have a chance to win a variety of prizes, ranging from a barista course from a top barista to a year’s worth of free coffee capsules. The absolute grand prize is an exclusive trip to one of the world’s largest coffee-producing countries: Brazil. Here the winner will have the chance to visit the coffee plantation where Barista Cafe’s coffee originated. An experience that shows the origin of coffee and offers a glimpse into the process of Barista Cafe’s coffee production.
From cafe to in-house kitchen
For years, Barista Cafe has been the place to enjoy quality coffee in a warm, homey atmosphere. With coffee capsules, they are now bringing this familiar quality to their guests’ at-home coffee corners. “Our coffee capsules are designed to bring the quality and taste of Barista Cafe directly to your own kitchen. We want our guests to enjoy the same high-quality coffee they experience in our cafes every morning. It’s a way to share our passion for coffee with everyone,” Patrick explained.
