Event agency Creators of Live is launching Chef’s Table cruises, which are unique culinary 3-day river cruises on a floating five-star boutique hotel, river cruise ship ‘Advance’, where fine dining is the common thread. For the gastronomic element, some of the Netherlands’ most prominent and innovative, culinary talents play the leading role. Chef’s Table cruises from Rotterdam to Frankfurt am Main

This coming August 19, the first Chef’s Table cruise by Transcend will depart from Rotterdam’s quai the Boompjes, with its final destination Frankfurt am Main, where it will dock on 21 August in the afternoon. None other than Michelin-starred chef Joris Bijdendijk (Rijks* and Wils*) will kick off this first river cruise.

Fine dining line-up during Chef’s Table cruises

The next river cruise (Oct. 23-25) follows the Düsseldorf-Amsterdam route, where chef Kalai van Vossen and sommelier Paulina Kasimovaitė of restaurant Cellar Door will conjure up the most delicious wine-food combinations. Next on the schedule is the Frankfurt-Rotterdam cruise (Nov. 16-19), where top chefs Rik Veen and Roy Schipper and sommelier Toby Sadettan of the pioneering fine dining restaurant Lutum will take over the gastronomic baton. And none other than chef Erik van Loo of the legendary restaurant Parkheuvel**, together with his son Juliën, will provide the culinary evenings on the Rotterdam-Rotterdam route (Nov. 19-21). Next up, with the innovative cooking skills of chef Jermain de Rozario of restaurant De Rozario*, on the Rotterdam-Rotterdam route (November 21-23), the special Chef’s Table series will be concluded.

Intimate and luxurious delight

Transcend Cruises’ luxurious river ship Advance can accommodate just 90 lucky guests. This select group will be welcomed on the first day with a cocktail party where they can meet the respective guest chef and/or culinary team. Throughout the trip, special created menus with appropriate premium wine pairings will be enjoyed. In addition, real enthusiasts can sign up for a masterclass by one of the culinary geniuses, or for an intimate private dinner by Advance by Transcend, The Table, hosted by the chef(s) themselves!  The musical entertainment will be provided by renowned Dutch talents from the music scene, from Róbert Bába, working with the Metropole Orchestra to the classical Maarten Hogenhuis Trio. There’s also time for some relaxation at the luxurious gym, swimming pool and on the sun deck!
