Wok to Walk opens first ‘sit down’ restaurant
From Wok to Walk to Wok to Dine: the chain has opened their sixth Amsterdam location and is taking a different approach here. As well as offering to-go wok dishes, at the new Wok to Walk Restaurant they also have the option of more elaborate dining. The new location has opened in Eerste van der Helstraat, in the middle of De Pijp.
Ordering at the counter is still an option, but at this Wok to Walk location you can also choose to be served at the table. And that, of course, involves a different menu from the other locations: you will find wok dishes you can compose yourself, but also Asian classics such as a Pad Thai or yakisoba. In addition, they also have a selection of appetisers to share on the table; the spring rolls are homemade, for the Dynamite Shrimps you will definitely come back and the Vietnamese Green Tacos are also perfect for sharing. The originally Dutch chain now has more than 100 locations worldwide, 6 of which are in Amsterdam. The Wok to Walk Restaurant is the first location to focus on a full dining experience. The first Wok to Walk opened in 2004, followed by several franchises in 2006. Learn more about Wok to Walk on their website, link in title.
