Owner Stephanie Schulte knows exactly how to give the food market concept a flavor of Noord Brabant. No long, uncomfortable tables and pagers for your food, but eclectic neon signs, cozy dining areas and hospitable staff. Logical, because with two successful restaurants to her name, Stephanie knows exactly how to make the people of Den Bosch happy. She built a completely new concept on the Korenbrugstraat: DE FAM, a food market with hospitality and typical ‘gezelligheid’ (could be translated to coziness) for the Dutch region of Brabant.
Colorful and trendy interior
When the premises of the former Kemps bicycle shop became available, Stephanie, with her entrepreneurial mentality, immediately knew what to do. She seized her chance, started crowdfunding and now, after a renovation and a few setbacks, the food market DE FAM has been realized. Whoever enters will be amazed by a particularly colorful interior. Something that immediately catches the eye between the traditional brown pubs in the neighborhood Uilenburg. The graffiti on the wall, urban jungle of plants and colorful eye-catchers ensure an ultra-trendy and photogenic design.
A culinary trip around the world
Not only the abundance of colors makes this concept unique. The wide range of kitchens that can be found in the food market also makes every person of Noord Brabant want to join in. The six different kitchens make a culinary tour around the world in one evening possible, or guests can choose a specific kitchen. Visitors can enjoy everything from Mexican to Asian and from fish and seafood to grill & burgers. And with all those different concepts you can look straight into the kitchen for an extra bit of experience. Including new style kebab at ‘De Bab’, MarMar tapas, Queso Cabana, Bar RawR, Finny’s Seafood and Mr.V.
