Daily Trade Fair Venlo
Daily Trade Fair Venlo, the innovative trade fair concept where professionals in the hospitality and interior industry can get inspired and do their shopping all year round, will open on 24 September 2023. On 15,000 square metres, progressive top suppliers will unpack their own showroom around a magnificent show kitchen that will also be used as a restaurant and event space. Various spaces are also available for international events, trade fairs and conferences.

Inspiration platform Daily Trade Fair Venlo is located on the site of the former flower auction in Venlo and is an initiative of the entrepreneurs of the adjacent Flora Trade Parc Venlo, the shopping boulevard for the home, gift and garden sectors. Hospitality ambassador is SVH Meestergastheer Marcel Swaghoven, former host sommelier and also owner of importer and wholesaler of quality wines The Wine Companions.
Shopping and inspiration seven days a week
At the moment, Daily Trade Fair Venlo is already open ‘under construction’ on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, before fully opening its doors from 24 September. Marcel Swaghoven: “This means that interested parties from the hospitality and interior design sector can come here seven days a week to be inspired by the diversity of showrooms and the events organised by our partners. The showrooms are partly unmanned and therefore low-threshold to visit. Visitors are welcomed hospitably by our hostesses and ordering is easy via the sales app.”
Culinary stage and restaurant The Stage
The Stage is the beating heart of the Daily Trade Fair Venlo. Here you will find the culinary stage and restaurant The Stage where visitors are welcome all day for a short stop or a meal and where, in close cooperation with partners, products are highlighted and dishes are prepared and presented in innovative ways. Part of The Stage is an integrated show kitchen and a double bar, available exclusively to partners. Events, demos, product presentations and other activities are organised here. Together with the partners, The Stage thus focuses on year-round inspiration and experience and acts as a stage for, by and with the partners and ambassadors.
Leading exhibitors
Marcel Swaghoven: “We are proud to have leading exhibitors as partners, including Bidfood, Hela Thissen, Scelta Mushrooms, Swinkels Family Brewers, Spadel Nederland, Melitta Professional, Palux Keukens, Rhima, Fulin Robots Technology, Janssens Kassasystemen and Meindersma Hospitality. And we are still talking to many other parties. For our partners, we organise networking meetings, breakfast sessions and inspiring talks, among other things. And for all parties, we are of course happy to provide a stage for their own activities. Companies interested in joining can do so with or without a showroom. idfood gets permanent base of operations
Ralf Lacroix, branch manager of catering supplier Bidfood chose Daily Trade Fair Venlo because of its innovative concept. “Bidfood is at many catering trade fairs and they only last a few days. Through Daily Trade Fair Venlo, we have a permanent base in a region where we are doing well. Among other things, we will be showing and tasting the possibilities of Jordy’s Keuken here through the restaurant’s menu and we are actively thinking about what we can put down with The Stage,” says Ralf Lacroix.
Space for events
Besides the exhibition space and The Stage, Daily Trade Fair Venlo has several spaces for international events, trade fairs and conferences. These include the special old auction room of the former flower auction. Daily Trade Fair Venlo also has flexible workspaces and ample free parking space right in front of the entrance.
Already open ‘under construction’
At present, Daily Trade Fair Venlo is open ‘under construction’ on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 10.00 to 17.00. From July, these days may change; the website www.dailytradefairvenlo.com will list the current days.
From September 24th the doors will be open seven days a week from 10am to 5pm.
