Gelateria Miuz prepares for winter with workshops, ice cream, semifreddo and real Italian hot chocolate
Gelateria Miuz in Amsterdam stays open for all ice cream lovers and expands its range with semifreddo and real Italian hot chocolate. Many ice cream parlors close mid-autumn but you can always go to this gelateria for a quality gelato. Whereas Miuz only sold gelato and coffee in the summer months, the range has now been expanded to include semifreddo, pralines and soon, cioccolata calda, a thick hot chocolate made of dark chocolate.
Semifreddo is a classic Italian semi-frozen dessert with a soft, creamy texture that melts on your tongue. At Miuz, they sell different sizes; from single pastries to cakes for eight to 10 people. Think autumnal flavours like hazelnut, chocolate, pistachio or almond. The gelato flavours will also soon take on a winter look, think chestnut and pumpkin, for instance. For gelato lovers who love to learn how to make delicious ice cream, Miuz is organising several workshops.
