On May 13, 14 and 15, pop-up restaurant ‘Rococo des Fleurs’ will open its doors. An exclusive culinary, colourful experience styled by master florist Menno Kroon. In his ‘Oranjerie’ – hidden between the orchards of Cothen in the province of Utrecht – some of the best Michelin-starred chefs of the Netherlands, Ron Blaauw, Dennis Huwaë and Hans van Wolde will create ‘the taste of seduction’ pop-up dinners. Concert pianist Iris hond will enrapture guests with her grand piano music and a number of international club DJs will lace the evening with modern jazz, lounge and deep house. Rococo des Fleurs partner Bentley Leusden will facilitate pick-up & drop-off of guests.

Composed floral splendour at Estate Cothen during Rococo des Fleurs
Hidden between the fruit orchards in Cothen (Utrecht) lies Estate Cothen; a green oasis full of inspiration. The estate was designed by master florist Menno Kroon and the estate has become his life’s work over the past 20 years. On the estate is a special orangery. In this showroom pop-up restaurant Rococo des Fleurs will open on May 13, 14 and 15. Menno will provide the pop-up restaurant with his colourful extravagant flower and interior signature.
Three Days of Michelin starred Chefs | Ron Blaauw, Dennis Huwaë and Hans van Wolde
May 13 Rococo des Fleurs starts with one of the most famous star chefs of the Netherlands: Ron Blaauw. Ron is the owner and chef of restaurant Ron Gastrobar (*) and one of Holland’s most famous culinary television personalities. The next day, the young and talented Chef Dennis Huwaë will be in charge of the kitchen. After being named ‘Talented Chef of the Year’ by GaultMillau in 2018, he received a Michelin star with his restaurant Daalder in 2021. They close May 15 with internationally acclaimed star chef Hans van Wolde known from his former restaurant Beluga and current restaurant Brut172, which is almost always fully booked. On the last evening of Rococo des Fleurs his two Michelin stars will shine on the plates in the restaurant.
Entertainment with concert pianist Iris Hond and international club DJ’s
During all three pop-up days, concert pianist Iris Hond will grace Rococo des Fleurs with her music played on grand piano. Iris graduated summa cum laude from the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, followed prestigious master classes and won international music awards. Iris regularly performs in renowned venues such as the Royal Concertgebouw, but this time you can listen to her music in the intimate setting of the pop-up restaurant. International club DJ’s like Propulsive, Berber Esha, Hans Stroeve interweave Rococo des Fleurs with ‘glamorous sounds’ fit for a star-studded pop-up restaurant. With modern jazz, lounge and deep house they frame the evening with musical luxury and ambience.
Luxury transportation by Bentley Leusden and bubbles from Pol Roger
Bentley, which originated in Britain, is an iconic car brand. Bentley became known for its sports cars that competed in the 24 hours of Le Mans and often won these races. In partnership with Bentley Leusden, Rococo des Fleurs provides pick-up and drop-off for guests who want it. This way, the house champagne of the evening – Pol Roger – can flow richly and guests will still arrive home safely. Let the bubbles begin!
