Ben & Jerry’s Cereal Splashback | Ice cream for breakfast

Put your PJs on, watch your favorite television show and enjoy a scoop (or two) of breakfast ice-cream. As it’s not going to be sold on the Dutch market, it might be interesting for ice-cream shop owners.

Whilst writing this article and enjoying my cereal breakfast, I am getting more and more excited. The Ben & Jerry’s Cereal Splashback was introduced on National Cereal Day on the 7th of March. Ben & Jerry’s flavor guru, Eric Fredette said: “We wanted to take our flavor concepts and make people feel like a kid again, which is how we landed our Cereal Splashback flavors.” Sadly enough Ben & Jerry’s Cereal Splashback is only available at scoop shops in the United States. Are you in America or are you going there soon? Grab your chance!
There are three different flavors available:
- Fruit Loot: cereal milk ice cream with crisp fruity cereal swirls that tastes like Fruit Loops.
- Frozen Flakes: cereal milk ice cream with crisp cereal swirls and that tastes like Frosted Flakes.
- Cocoa Loco: chocolate cereal milk ice cream with crisp chocolate cereal swirls that tastes like Cocoa Puffs.
The spring and summer months are about to arrive, so time enough to convince ice-cream shops in your neighborhood to be creative and create this kind of ice-cream. Ice cream for breakfast or cereals for dessert, to me it doesn’t matter. ^ Bas Dorst
